About the Speaker

Andy Peterson is a Sr. Manager of Financial Products and Corporate Risk For Polaris Inc. In this role he has oversite of Financial Products, such as extended warranty, GAP and maintenance products. This includes sales, training, product design, compliance, claims, customer service and financial performance.
He joined Polaris in 2014 after spending 6 years at Best Buy as a manager with responsibility over their Phone and Tablet extended warranty program. He also spent time with Liberty Mutual in their claims organization.

Since joining Polaris he has successfully internalized many parts of the extended warranty business improving on the overall financial performance and customer experience. He has also successfully launched a GAP and pre-paid maintenance program.

Andy holds an Economics degree from St. Johns University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

The Good, Bad & Ugly: Outsourcing versus Insourcing the Extended Warranty Process and Claims Management

Every business industry is under tremendous pressure on whether to handle the tasks in-house or outsource or go for a hybrid approach. This session will include individual customer warranty journey short presentations and will identify certain elements they chose to insource versus outsource and the reasons why. After the individual presentations, Mark will engage the speakers and audience in a round robin of Q&A.
